Storytelling is as old as mankind. It is a kind of an exchange between people that enables us to understand the world. Intrinsic to our existence, it helps us to visualize facts, imagination, feelings, and values. We visualize and deliver the world of visionary possibilities and ideas that create waves of emotions.
NOW FILMING
With gratitude of almighty
and blessings showered upon, we announce beginning of our next feature film
project "Charan Kanya -The girl who fought lion" in the dense forest
of Gir district, Gujarat. Our thrill will begin as we schedule our shooting
dates in this winter. The primary challenge is shooting in the dense forest
filled with lions and Leopards.
The story of Charan Kanya is set in the 1928s, a
remote habitat of tens of residents living in the "Nes" (temporary
residences) in the Gir district, Gujarat. While conversing about the lifestyle
of Charan tribe and their contributions to our society, I learnt wonderful
things, their love for the art and culture is remarkable. It will be my core
effort to portray the community well on the big screen"- says Mitali Jani,
Writer and Director of this film. Adding, "We are creating a period
feature film with musical theme, I think I’m the first one to do so in Gujarati
cinema, that to adding above the line visual effects, animated lions and still
keeping the project grounded by using traditional folk music in the
background."
